Users are able to use computers that they are not the administrator on as no download and/or the install of any extension, plug-in or program is required thus extensively reducing support requirements.

Integrity Advocate does not require the use of a computer (computers, tablets and even phones can be used), unless limited by client setting preferences. Additionally, Integrity Advocate will check and restrict access to non-current OS that is no longer receiving security updates. This in conjunction with not requiring a specific browser or the installation of an application, plugin or extension, eliminates a vast number of potential support issues.

Integrity Advocate also works across various band-widths and internet conditions i.e. if internet is lost momentarily, when the LMS becomes visible again so will Integrity Advocate and the user can continue without  any interruption.

From the ProctorFree LaunchPortal

1.         Select an available link

2.         Complete payment if required…Please contact the Support Team to request a refund if needed…

3.         select the available link to start the ProctorFree Desktop Application download.

4.         Once the download completes open the downloaded file… complete a brief install … close the application or simply return to the download page to select the exam link … to begin.

 

Mac

From the ProctorFree LaunchPortal

1.         Select an available link

2.         Complete payment if required…Please contact the Support Team to request a refund if needed.

3.         select the available link to start the ProctorFree Desktop Application download.

4.         Once the download completes open the downloaded file… drag the proctorfree application into the Applications folder.

5.         Open the Applications folder and run the proctorfree application.

6.         …close the application or simply return to the download page to select the exam link prompting the System Check to begin.” 3

Integrity Advocate does not require an install, plugin or browser extension, and is accessible on-demand. Because of this our support requirements are minimal, eliminating time and frustration for both end-users and clients.
